battery is not inserting in its cradle

I had so much problems with windows 7 freezing all websites, the control panel, cursor/mouse, keyboards, etc. that I had to remove battery several times, about 6-7 times. The last time the battery refuse to be reinserted. I have used the cleaning compressed

air spray on the computer all over, had even used some coconut oil on the battery latch to lubricate....but the battery is still Not inserting in its cradle. Please help. What should I do? I can't even do battery check.
