We have Windows 8 installed on our laptop. We received a message HIGH Alert security Essential Alert appeared wanting us to allow them access.  security-scanner.exe(238 kb) rbzurqjm.it.cx.    I thought that Security Essential does not work in Windows 8 ...Defender

was to work.  What  should we do regarding potential Trojan and viral infection.  Should we ignore the alert.....why are we receiving it?  Is my computer compromised?
