has anyone had luck with the Office Customization Tool setting Places Bar Location

Features - Modify user settings - Microsoft Office 2013 - Places Bar Location

 

it is supposed t add custom Save / Open locations (it worked for office 2012 but with the interface in 2013 cant get it to work), below is the registry settings it makes
