Outlook2013 Appointment incompatability w/ Outlook2007/2010 Appointments?

My Outlook 2013 (64bit) users report they cannot import appointments sent from Outlook 2010 or 2007 users?

 

Strangely those users which were upgrades to Outlook2013 from Outlook2010 (myself included) don't have this problem...

(Win7Pro64bit, POP mail)
