ntdetect failed occur when i install windows xp how to overcome this ?

Detail : when i boot the DVD disc of Windows XP SP3 it works properly and follow the procedure of formatting the drive c according to the command , after copy the windows files system restarted but problem is that after restart the error "NTDETECT failed"

occur and does go ahead..

this is the problem.. please tell how to overcome this ?. 

and interested thing is that when i install the Windows 7 this error does not occur and install successfully without any problem... but i cant use the windows 7 because my pc does not support properly...!!!

my PC details:

Hp Compaq dx2200 tower

processor is 3.06

ram is 512 ddr2 

hard disc is 200gb
