Problems installing Office Home & Student 2013

I am getting very frustrated with this process. This is the second time that I'm keying in this question.

I bought the Office Home & Student 2013 with my new laptop purchase.

I tried the download on the Friday I purchased the laptop and it happened to be the Friday that there was problems with the website. I have not had the opportunity to try the download again until yesterday.

I took the laptop back to Office Depot where I bought it and Joe set up the link for me to do the install.

I tried the install (from the shortcut) and never got farther than the question about this software changing the computer - I click yes and the window closes and nothing happens.

 

So I went and deleted all the downloaded files - to start clean and deleted the shortcut.

Now I login and it takes me to the window to download - I do that, when it asks to run or save - I've tried both - with the same result - 'something is wrong - go online for help'.

So help me get this installed....
