I'm using Jarte instead of Wordpad and noticed that when I search for a word it also brings back that combination of letters in other words.  This seems to be a Operating System thing (I'm using XP Pro now) and happens with other programs too.  Is there

any way of stopping this illogical Find "feature"?

For example I search for exa but it brings up the word example because those letters are in it.  What exa has in common with example I will never understand.  If you're searching a long document it means its completely unworkable.

This "feature" can result in 50 times as many useless hits as it would if it would just find what you want it to find.

Is there a way of making it do what its told?
