I've just installed a Verbatim 256GB SATA II SSD as my C: HD and find that inside my Win 7 Pro XP Mode using the HD Speed testing untility HD Tune it only shows transfer speeds around 9-10MB/s

Also booting up into XP Mode is extremly slow

I've also found that when I'm in Win 7 Pro the transfer speed HD Test results that I get vary all over the place

Sometimes ca. 190MB/s other times down as low as 5-6MB/s

My Seagate 500GB SATA HD C: consistantly shows ca. 130MB/s and XP Mode Boot up time is much, much faster

I realise there could be several factors causing these SSD problems but I appreciate it if anyone can suggest a way to find how to correct this Transfer Speed problem/s

Thanks in advance

Max
