Today I removed MacAfee software from my computer and installed Microsoft Essentials in its place.  Now I find Windows Defender is turned off and I cannot turn it back on.  I have telephoned your Support centre and they have e-mailed me the procedure

but this failed at the first hurdle as I was told to "uninstall the Windows Defender program" and this is not on the list.  I hav e phoned twice and have e-mailed but heard nothing since .
