Windows 8, blue screen, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION error

HP All-in-one with Windows 8 used for less than a week. I got the blue screen/sad face noting SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION error requiring restart.

 

I restarted and once back on the desktop, received a juscheck.exe/Oracle America run request to install a new Java update. Received the same error again.

 

 

I think that's the root of the problem, but wasn't sure how to notify Microsoft.
