IE tiles not pinning/creating

I have been trying to pin websites to the start menu via IE 10 Metro. However, even after I choose to create one, the tiles are not showing up within the apps, or upon the start screen.

A windows easy transfer has taken place between an old computer and the one I am trying to create the tiles upon and I'm curious if that might be causing an error for some reason, or if the tiles are malfunctioning in some manner.
