Cannot download scanner G3110

I have Windows 7, 64 bit and I am trying to download HP G3110 scanner. When downloading, either from disc or the internet, it tells me that the Operating system on this computer is not supported and installation cant continue until this is resolved. Does

anyone know what I should do now? I have worked on this for 3 days.
