March 4th, Windows Update installed updates when I logged off for the night. The next morning, my printer would no longer work. I was getting the message, 'printer is not communicating with printer,' but the troubleshooter found nothing wrong, and all

my connections were fine. I found a suggestion in a google search to uninstall the latest updates and try the printer again, so I did, and that fixed the problem. I reset updates to keep them from installing automatically, but rather, to let me see what is

available and let me install manually, but it didn't work. It still tries to update automatically every time I shut down my computer. I don't want to uninstall update, because I want all the necessary updates, but how do I get it to work properly? My computer

is only a little over a year old, so I don't understand why I am already having this problem. Thank you!
