Outlook Express - Lost Personal Folders/Messages

My wife's deesktop is running XP (latest & greatest update) and Outlook Express 6.0.2900.5512. I am not sure what she did, nor how she did it but she managed to lose all of her Personal folders & associated messages. They are not within any of the "system"

local folders, including the Deleted Items folder (lots of messages there, but no embedded folders). Went Pooffffff.

 

Anyone have any suggestions on how I should go about "searching" for them, by what name(s), etc.??? Restarting was not a solution - majic didn't happen!
