Guest Keithg Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Hello, I recently built a new computer and immediatly encountered blue screens. Every time it happened there is a message about USBPORT.sys and irq's I have ran hardware tests to see if anything could be wrong with the hardware and it does not seem like there is. My system is Windows XP Pro SP2 Intel Q6600 Asus Striker Extreme OCZ Reaper 800 2 gig BFG 8800 gtx OC2 BFG physx card 250 gig sata hard drive 500 gig sata hard drive lg lightscribe sata dvd burner I have tried 1 stick of ram and just the video card with the same error coming up i can be idle, surfing, downloading or playing a game and it happens I have reinstalled and not used any usb ports and i still get the error right now iam trying it with the motherboard USB disabled and so far nothing has happened please help ! I need some expert tech help here thank you Keith
