Guest Will Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Below, Vista Sp1 info download. Hope to goodness it tames the monster down to a more managable savage beast for the average home user. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=090deaf6-2eaa-4aaa-8b3b-2e199db4a97d&displaylang=en An average home user, I bought a lovely HP M7550n PC last Christmas with Vista Home Premium inside and after 2 weeks of being awed at how grossly inefficient the OS was, I gave it to my girlfriend. The Vista monster will drive a lot of users away from Microsoft & PC's to Apple which (after trying an iMac for 10 days while my 4 year old HP M370n Mce 2004/5 PC was being repaired), will be a gift for me this coming Christmas. They may learn a lesson from this proving that competition can be good for the average person.
