For a while now, I''ve had 5 updates that refuse to install.   They try to install upon shutdown.  Update 1 never fully installs and I tend to leave the computer to shutdown by itself, which it eventually does.

I run AVG (free version) on my computer and Malwarebytes (free version).   No viruses/malware have been detected except a file with a broken signature which was issued by Dell which AVG always flags up and it has done for about 2 years.   I have some corrupt

files on one section of the computer.   My computer is a Dell Inspirion 545 with Vista Home Premium and a 32 bit operating system.  The computer is 2 and half years old.

The updates are:Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 x86 (KB2487367)Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008 x86 (KB2656351)Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 x86 (KB2468871)Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 x86 (KB2533523)Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008 x86 (KB2600217)They don't seem to be causing much problems, although they are supposed to be important updates, so I would like them to fully install. Please be aware that I'm not very technical with computers, so please use simple language if possible.

Thanks very much
