When Windows Update automatically updated my PC I noticed that KB2807986 wasn't checked so it didn't update automatically. I installed it after I noticed it wasn't included in the first batch when I checked to see what updates were installed. There

were two important updates and I installed that one. A few hours after installation, when I was using Windows explorer to check for something, it stopped working and didn't give a reason why.  Windows Explorer stopped working. It never did that

before the update. Did that update or another update cause Windows explorer to stop working and should it be uninstalled? Also why wasn't the update checked and included in the first batch and is the update even needed?
