How to uninstall a program that you don't want and you can't get rid of it

I down loaded Zone Alarm and have try to remove it by restore and it didn't work. Once you down load it, it locks its self into your computer and you can't get rid of it. I've tried many different things, even in safe mode and still I can't get rid of

it which is very aggravating. How can I get rid of this thing??
