Windows 7- Blue screen of death (STOP: 0x00000116) PLUS Windows Updates not in service

I have had this Hp computer for almost a year and the previous owner had it for 4 years and had no problems with it. It has Windows 7. It has currently been giving me issues with freezing and the BSOD STOP: 0x00000116 (0xFFFFFA80056B64E0, 0xFFFFF88004865D9C,

0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002) keeps popping up whenever I play a video whether from YouTube or Hulu, and I can't play a game like Diablo 3 or SW the Old Republic anymore because it freezes and my pc restarts in the middle of it. Following with this

issue that I do not know how to solve, My windows updates are not working and when I try to do it manually, it pops up an error saying it's Not in Service. I do not know when this issue started but I was beginning to wonder why my pc hadn't updated itself

in a long while. I am not a computer wiz, and I have low knowledge on anything internal with pc's. Can someone please help me fix these two issues that could very well be connected with each other? ~Thank you for your time!
