It will not boot up.   If i let it boot to windows, it gets to the intial win 7  banner, then restarts and goes to Launch Startup repair.  Once I select repair, it loads files then hangs up on a dark screen with a white mouse pointer.  The mouse is moveable

but the screen is just blank with nothing to click on.  I tried a recovery disk, it does the same thing.  Also once on the blank screen, normal shut down or restart options do not work, I have to unplug power and battery to shut down.
