Started experiencing a black screen flicker after the Win7 auto updates published March 12, 2013.  Occurs every 5-6 minutes and generates above error message in event viewer.

 

Rolled back the updates and problem has disappeared.  Update included the following:

KB2814124

KB982726

KB2553501

KB2760600

KB2687505

KB2687503

KB2767886

KB2791765

KB890830
