Almost every time an Automatic Update is downloaded and requires a restart after installation, The Security Center warns that the MSE is turned off yet opening MSE indicates the computer is protected and can be updated manually. Also sometimes the MSE icon

is missing from the task bar. Occasionly updating MSE and running a quick scan resolves the problem, but not always. Once I had to remove and re-install MSE to resolve the problem. This is a major pain in the a** if every Windows update will require this.

Help!!
