uninstall a program

Setup/Uninstall has stopped working: A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify  you if a solution is available. I am trying to uninstall a program. Everytime I click on uninstall, this pop ups. Any

ideas what to do? The program is PC  Performer, which I don't know how it got onto my computer in the first place.
