How do I get mal mail off my computer

I was on my computer last night and somehow Home/sweetie got on my computer.  I don't know how it got there but I can't get it off.  I think it is something like malware.  It's driving me crazy and I'm afraid it might infect my computer.  My computer is

a Gateway.  I have Nortion360

 

but it didn't catch this problem.  Help!!!
