I am upgrading from Vista to Windows 7. Everything went just fine except I unfortunately used the 32 bit installation disk. My system is a 64 bit . I have tried using the correct 64 bit DVD and restarting but never reach the 'upgrade or custom installation

option'. I have tried various things to no avail. If I click on the 'setup.exe' file on the DVD I just get a message that says this program is not compatible with my current version of Windows. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me how to

uninstall 32 bit Windows 7 and get Windows 7 64 bit O/S installed. I even tried to format my 'C' drive but I get an error message that says it's protected and I can't reformat it. Thank you.   Jerry Orlikowski
