Has anyone received a call stating that they represented Windows and there was a threat to my comput

The call came around 3:00 pm Central time.  The first call was from a female.  I thought it was a telemarketer and asked to be taken off their list and hung up.  Almost immediately a male called back.  The caller ID showed unavailable and showed no qriginating

number.  The caller said that I could get into trouble because of the hacker.  They would help me get rid of the program that was on my computer.  I refused the help and asked again to not be called.  The person called one more time and my husband talked to

them.  Whar is this?  Did Microsaft Windows try to call me or is this fishing?
