Downloads too slow. WINDOWS Update not loading

   I'm using a Satellite TOSHIBA about 5 years old.  Trying to download WINDOWS Updates has caused me some concern.  Normally I would expect  a download from WINDOWS to be around 120 - 145 mbt/s but all I can get is an 8%-10% download then a stop.  I've

tried this in a good downloading spot with a high speed internet (WiFi) during peak and not so peak hours.  The downloader is a tad slow for my preferences but should not be for a WINDOWS Update.
