Windows 7 Update Order

I hope to find an answer to my problem. I recently decided to upgrade from XP to Windows 7 in order to avoid end of support for my system. After a few days I see there are over 90 "important update" listed in the "Control PanelSystem and SecurityWindows

UpdateSelect updates to install". I selected the first dozen or so to install only to find that a "Fatal Error" occurred that caused me to completely re-install Windows 7 and SP1. I now discover that some of these updates are dependent on others. To sum it

up, my question is this: Is there a concise listing of Windows 7 updates and their date-order?
