A short answer will do.  I need to reinstall windows 7 pro.  My dvd seems corrupted.  I thougt Microsoft offered a solution for xp although I could never find it.  I have the serial number and product code.  I found a site that downloaded a version of

windows 7 pro which I burned and it boots ok.  Will my serial number work I believe it was for developers and it's from Microsoft.
