I get error code 800F0904 when trying to download and install SP1 for Windows 7 Pro.  The install hangs up at 1% every time.  I have tried the following:

Installing in a clean boot state

Installing in safe mode (w/ networking)

Disabling all virus software

Disabling UAC & Firewall

Downloading/Installing via the Microsoft Download Center

Running troubleshooter for windows update

Running the system update readiness tool

When I download/install from the download center, it tries to install Windows Debugging Symbols (which I have installed several times, hoping that it might be the right thing, just disguised).  I have not downloaded the .iso file, which might be my next

step.

Any advice would be appreciated...every other site I've been to has told me to take the steps above, which have not worked.

Computer Details:

Dell Inspiron

Intel Core i3

8.00 GB Ram

Windows 7 Pro (64bit)
