I have spent the last two days trying every possible solution to my Security Essentials Updating problem.  When I try to update I get an Error Message 0x80070424. 

 

 

I have;

Reset Internet Explorer as my default.

Reset all my Internet Explorer settings.

Date and Times on computer are correct

Attempted to rename the software distribution folder.

Reset the Microsoft antivirus engine.

Manually Installed the latest updates from the website.
