disable / modify send message function

We have been running a terminal server for about 4 years now, and it has been

the best decision we ever made. Rock Solid and Faster than I could have ever

hoped.

now, to the point. How can I restrict the users ability to change the

username when they use the "send message" feature? The feature I am referring

to is msg.exe I believe, but just through the GUI, I'm not too worried about

them using the command line version.

Right now, they just figured out that they can right click on a user through

the task manager and send a message, which isn't the real problem, the real

problem is when they change the user it is coming from and send a message

they think is funny, but this can lead to serious problems.

I thought I found this option before, but I can't find it anywhere.

It is possible to deny send message permissions to users/users group.

goto tscc.msc(Terminal Services

Configuration)->Connections->RDP-Tcp->Permissions tab, click advanced

button.

Thanks

Thanks, that will keep the users from sending the messages. I still would

like to find a way to not allow the users to change the from part of the

message so that I could still alow them to use it, but not abuse it you know.
