External backup error 0x80070002 on Windows 7

When I do an external backup using Seagate Free Agent GoFlex the backup completes but then says: Backup encountered a problem C;UsersUpdatusUserFavorites can't find the specified file error 0x80070002. I am NOT real computer 'savvy'. I don't know what

to do to fix the problem. I have been reading other forums that are similar to mine but not just like mine. HELP!!! I have had the computer just a little over a year and this just started being a problem a couple weeks ago.
