My HP NIC drivers support 802.1Q. I'd like to configure 802.1Q and NLB on

the same physical pair of NICs on my server. I found this quote, “You cannot

enable 802.1Q VLAN tagging and integrated NLB on the same interface of a

network adapter. This limitation is imposed by NLB" from here,

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912943. I understand this to mean that I can

not configure NLB on an 802.1Q tagged virtual interface. But, this would

leave open the possibility of configuring NLB on the native or non-tagged

virtual interface.

I have not been able to get this working on my test rig so I'm reaching out

to you all to see if anyone has experience with getting this working and can

explain it to me or knows that NLB will not work on the native virtual

interface.

Thanks
