Zero access Trogen disabled some of my Windows Vista Programs

Due to a Trogen malware  zero access  my windows Vista Defender  updates  and set startup programs in the control panel is inoperative.  I have Operating System Disc.  Can I use my Disc to repair or re install Vista.  Microsoft want let me download windows

defender because it came with the vista operating system
