WINDOWS UPDATES REFUSED TO INSTALL

I recently upgraded my system from WinXP to Win7 home premium. I Windows update keeps giving me error codes 800B0100, 8024200D and 80246005. Win7 sp1 has also refused to be installed. what is wrong?
