I am currently operating a Dell (model N5110, 64-bit Operating System) with Windows 7 Home Premium. I've recently tried to check for updates, and received the error code 80080005 several times. I've already attempted several of the options provided by

the Windows Help and Support system that pops up with the error code, including ensuring I have a Windows 7 Service Pack 1, troubleshooting and using the Microsoft fixit. Each troubleshoot or fixit came up with problems that were "fixed," even though the error

continued.Here are some of the problems the troubleshooter/fixit found and "fixed:"- Potential Windows Update Database error detected 0x80080005- Windows Update components must be repaired- Problem with Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS)I hope I've provided enough information, and huge thanks for any help provided!
