A recent Microsoft 7 update (made 57000 fixes) and changed the appearence of my menu and tool bars.

1.The appearance of the back forward buttons changed, one is larger than the other and the small arrow adjacent to them that would reveal recent pages or complete history has disappeared.

 

2. The url identification for the page previously was adjacent the  "back" 'forward" buttons has moved to the right right and in it's place is my Google search box which previously was on the extreme right in this menu bar.

 

3. New Home, History, and Tools icon have appeared.

 

What's with this unsolicited, unwanted and extremely annoying occurrence?

 

Are there other changes I have yet to discover?

 

What the heck are 57,000 update/fixes? Does that refer to 57,000 "bugs", mistakes, lousy programing?
