Trouble Installing Windows Vista SP1

When I try to install SP1 for Vista, it prompts me to accept the terms, and tells me it will restart several times. It begins to download, but then ends about ten seconds later and says that it has been successfully downloaded. When I start my computer

again, it says that SP1 needs to be downloaded again.
