how to change system drive letter

my system drive has ended up being I:

I have been doing some major screwing around.

 

how can I get it back to being C:??

And ensure everything will continue working?

 

Backup all your stuff...

Remove any external attached drives and any internal drives other than the

CD/DVD drive and the hard drive you are installing the OS onto..

Format and install Windows XP anew...

Update...

Install all your applications...

Restor all your stuff...

Why do you care? It really doesn't matter. Mine is F: here, and it

works without a problem.
