Red color gone :S

Hey guys my monitor is not displaying any red color on the screen i only see yellow and blue and its mixtures.

Help me :(

I'm guessing you have a big old CRT monitor in which case the red "gun" within the tube has died mate.

 

Time for a new TFT monitor.

Check the monitor cable where it plugs into the PC - and the monitor if it does plug in at that end.

 

Sometimes they come loose and don't connect properly.

I agree with Wolfey on this one. The Monitor is dying so you would do better to replace it.

Yes - Its dead im afraid - dependant on how much the monitor was and the size of it - some are massive and they are better being repaired than they are buying a new one.

I disagree and suggest that once the tube goes or any one of the RGB guns dies then either get a new CRT or a TFT monitor.
