STILL unable to update Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for x64-based Systems (KB976932)

Error details: Code 80070490

 

I have been trying to update this service pack since June 24, 2011 & my laptop refuses. I have done everything that has been suggested on the internet (that I could find on my own) including disabling my anti-virus software—all to no avail. Can anyone help

me???

 

I have an HP Pavilion dv6-2155dx entertainment notebook that came preinstalled w/ Windows 7, which I purchased in July/August 2010.

 

I'd appreciate any assistance the community could offer.
