Guest Kyle Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 My system clock won't sync up with time.gov or microsoft. I don't know of any firewall that's on but Comcast did install cable internet while I wasn't home so I'm not sure what they could've done. Any help is greatly appreciated.

See if this article helps. "A list of the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) time servers that are available on the Internet" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/262680 Note that there are many NTP servers beyond that list as well. -- d-d

Hi Kyle Just to add to what Detlev said in his reply: those servers have been flaky or not working at all for a long time. Choose another server from the list in d-d's link and just type its name into the Server box. -- Nightowl

I found that some servers just don't work with my setup. The only one that works for me is tock.usno.navy.mil Are you getting an error message?
