unable to update windows 7 pro error 80244004

i have searched, and tried just about everything. been at this for almost 7 hours straight!i keep getting error 80244004.i only had one antivirus, microsoft security essentials (4)i have uninstalled it.i am using no proxysi have ran all the FIXITS, and dont them manually as well! can someone please give me a hand. i have tried all suggested o this forum.i noticed the last update was installed on dec.20.2012 and the last check was dec.25.2012 (today is april.13.2013)i tried removing those updates... from dec 13 to 21...still having issuesplease help!!thankspjEDIT: i reinstalled MSE, and when i did, it downloaded the latest database.
