windows update components broken?

it sais two things:

 

potential windows update database error detected 0x80070057  Not fixed

windows update components must be repaired  Not fixed

 

ive had the update components broken for awhile and i cannot figure this out. the other one is new, amd i dont know how to fix it either. im really sorry, for i am not a computer person xD. please help, it will be greatly appreciated.
