how to resolve windows 7 64 bit update error code 80080005

When  I am clicking on windows update it opens with red crossed sign. When I click on check update, it gived error code.  It is no more showing any previous history and indicates windows up date was never run. I tried to resolve the issue with fixit and

though it says rectified, update is not working. Pls advise.
