G41 Chipset update does not install.

G41 chipset, in order to get it to install I have to uninstall the existing  driver and then reinstall.  This happens on every occasion that there is an update for this chipset.  I just get the message update failed.  Is there a fix for this please. thanks

 

HO Compac CQ5226   2.66MHz  2GB ram  250GB HDD   Windows 7 home premium.
