i keep getting a window saying a problem has caused the program to stop working when I'm using my in

i will have my family tree maker program open and all of a sudden I get the message "a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. windows will close the program and notify if a solution in available."   This also happens when I use incredimail. 

Every time i click on a new email the about message also comes up.  I have used incredimail and family tree maker on this vista for many years and this has just started happening the past 2 weeks.  thanks
