How do I get my MIDI connection to my TV to also carry the audio to my set?

I have a Lenovo laptop running Windows 7 and hooked up the MIDI cable to the laptop and the TV, I have picture but no Audio going to my TV set..Need help with settings or software upgrade?..HELP!
